Hello, I’m So Jung Park, a certified Feldenkrais practitioner.

So Jung Park, Director of the Feldenkrais Institute of Korea, Ph.D. in Performing Arts
"A small movement can change a life."
This belief is a philosophy forged not only by overcoming an injury from my time as a contemporary dancer but also strengthened through encounters with countless individuals in many different fields. I am now an educator and a researcher at the intersection of art and science, guiding people to transform their lives through movement.
After becoming an internationally certified Feldenkrais practitioner, my stage expanded to the entire world. I have gained invaluable experience exploring new possibilities in movement with a diverse range of people, including artists, professionals, and individuals with degenerative neurological conditions.
My academic research culminated in a Ph.D. in Performing Arts for my dissertation on the effects of a Feldenkrais-based movement program for patients with Parkinson's disease. This scholarly journey gave me the profound insight to connect the sensitive, embodied intelligence of a performing artist with a systematic approach to therapeutic movement.
My role is not to teach prescribed movements. Instead, I am a guide who helps you awaken your own senses and re-learn the connection between your brain and body, based on the principles of neuroplasticity. To this end, I have been directing the International Feldenkrais Practitioner Training Program in Korea since 2017, dedicating myself to cultivating the next generation of practitioners.
Movement is the most fundamental gift we are all given and the most powerful tool for changing our lives. I am here to join you on the journey of discovering the infinite potential that lies dormant within your body.
